At Skaar Family Farm, our mission is to provide excellent quality hay for your herd. Whether you are feeding horses, goats, donkeys, sheep, alpacas, cows or deer, we strive to harvest our hay at the most opportune time to maximize the nutrient content of our bales. Our grass it mowed at peak nutrition, tedded to decrease the drying time and it is baled dry. We store all our hay bales inside our barns. We offer small square bales and net-wrapped round bales. Buying beef in bulk allows you to purchase up to year's worth of beef at one low price per pound. You pay the same price per pound for ground beef as you pay for steaks and roasts. Our hogs are raised outside on pasture able to root, roam, graze and just be pigs. This gives the meat a nice, deep flavor better than the conventional meat you would find in your big chain grocery store.
